Mister Tough Guy.

A couple days ago, Best Friend showed me a post on social media from a neighbor.  Neighbor posted a statement to the effect that if anyone knows how to sign up to fight the Russians in the Ukraine, please let him know.

So, Best Friend, responded by stating he will talk to his cousin and get the information for Neighbor.

Neighbors responds with, “You don’t scare me.”

That was the first indication that Neighbor is off his nut.

A short time later, Best Friend sends Neighbor the information.

Neighbor continues with pounding his chest like a silverback gorilla, but also backs down from his bravado about wanting to become a soldier of fortune.  You know, lame excuses and more veiled threats.

I, in turn, made it clear on that social media post that I have relatives who are living in that area and are involved in the war.  This is true.  Any help would be appreciated, and I was glad that Neighbor was stepping up to the plate.

I called his bluff.

Silence from Neighbor then on (as of this blog post).  He does have a propensity to play the know-it-all tough guy he thinks he is, but he really is nothing more than a blowhard.  He was called out, and he looks the fool.

Yes, he’s the same guy who threw the blame of his public mistake on others, that is, he didn’t take responsibility for his mistake.  It’s always other people who causes his mistakes, in his world, as I wrote IN THIS BLOG POST.

Lesson:  It might not be a good idea to pretend to be a tough guy, a G.I. Joe, or a Rambo when others can easily call it out.

It’s not right to pretend to be something you are not at all.
