And Just Like That.

There is something to be said and pondered upon, that when a person wakes up in the morning, there is no telling or predicting what the day will bring.

No matter how much our calendar is full of appointments.  No matter what our plans are in the morning.  No matter what.

I think about this as I read the news about the war in the Ukraine.  The Ukrainians began February 24, 2022, with plans, and no plans, for the day.  Guaranteed that no one really knew what they would be doing by the close of the day . . . and beyond—
