January’s Nocturne.

Frozen Earth unyielding—
Frosty air night silence fetches
Crisp breezes teasing dark sleeping branches;
Diana’s radiance bathes white frothy clouds.
Velvet black heavens unfold, revealing
Guardians Three: Orion, Perseus, and Cassiopeia.
Frosty air with night’s silence brings a
Frozen Earth unyielding.
The snow comes softly—
Cold and wet and silently,
Lingering for months.
