It’s October and time for the annual block party.  The invitation came last week in the usual email: 

“It’s the Annual Trick or Drink.  How much we loved doing this when we lived in Pennsylvania, and now we want to continue this tradition on our block.  To participate, have liquor at the end of your driveway and meet your neighbors.  Or you can walk around and meet them with a drink.  Dress up, or not.  It’s up to you.  See you on the block on the 31st.”

The block captain also held this gathering last year when I wrote about Trick or Drink.

I hope they have fun.
