The other morning, Best Friend was helping to “set up” the day:  clean out the litter box, start the dishwasher, and replace the paper towel holder with a new roll.

“Look at this,” as he showed me the holder with the new roll.

I looked up from my desk.  “Wow.  Isn’t that something?  It used to touch the side of the holder.”

“Yeah.  And it probably costs more, too.”

So now it’s evident that the paper towel brand we buy has less sheets per roll; I know it does cost more these days.

Come to think of it, I am pretty sure that the TP roll I installed yesterday fit looser than ever before.  I’m convinced TP rolls are smaller.
