A Happy Night of Escapism.

Recently, my best friend procured tickets to see a singing performance by Donny Most and Misty Rowe.

Being that this concert was in another town, we decided to dine at a local restaurant instead of supping at home.  We chose an interesting BBQ place.  The food was good, and we plan to return another time.

We then headed to the venue where the concert was to take place.  It was a large and spacious theater with comfortable seats – but the best part was that my best friend got us front row seating!

Most sang many old favorites from Sinatra, Martin, and Bennet.  Rowe sang duets with him from time to time, and so soloed with her rendition of “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend.”

The evening went by fast, and we had a lot of fun.

Note:  Donny Most is mostly famous for playing the character Ralph Malph in the 1970s television show, “Happy Days.”  Misty Rowe played a waitress at the drive-in on the same program – AND she played Marilyn Monroe in the film, “Goodbye, Norma Jean” (1976), among other films in her repertoire.
