Summer has finally arrived in my neck of the woods. Upon arising this morning just before dawn, the air felt ever so crisp and cool. I made a cup o’ tea and headed to my terrace to watch the world wake up.
As the sun rose this morning, the birds began to sing, and in the distance, a lone car putt-putted on the country road. The dew sparkled in the lush green field under blue-pink skies, and a soft breeze tickled the leaves on the magnolia trees. The breeze sent a soft fragrance from the marigolds planted in pots around the terrace.
I am writing almost every day and have several books and short stories in the works. I had a dry spell for a while, but it returned in full force.
I like that.
