Thus says the noir detective fiction story writer, Montgomery Stratton. Stratton has a point – music is best when the musician plays from the heart and the deepest parts of the soul. Otherwise, all that emanates is a cacophony of musical notes that anyone can bang out.

As a musician myself, I can absolutely support Montgomery’s point of view. If you cannot FEEL the truth, you cannot emanate the truth.
