Everything Old Is New?

And January is gone – just like that!

I spent much of the month reading short science fiction stories from the Golden Age of Science Fiction.

One of the common themes I noticed was that all the fanciful, frightening, and frivolous dystopian settings could be so well applied to today’s world.

In these stories, there were:

Demonic governments

Zombie-like citizenry

Out-of-control viruses

What once may have been far-fetched plots, seem all too real for today.

In February, I am focusing on short fiction stories with Valentine and Cupid themes.  Cupid shooting arrows from his bow should prove just as interesting as blue-skinned Venusians rocketing through the universe.
