The other day, we received an email from our neighborhood management company. In it was a message that a resident tested positive for a cold – oh! I mean, “COVID” – and anyone who also visited the neighborhood diner on January 22 when this person ate there, should quarantine themselves, too.
I wondered aloud, “Do these people who are sick also call the grocery store, the doughnut shop, and the big box store that they also visited? Or is this part of the usual ‘look at me’ mentality of a select group of people who live here?”
